Safeguarding guidance

If you believe a young person is at risk, it is important that you act immediately.

If you’re a practitioner with Barnardo’s, you should report it to your line manager as soon as possible.

If you’re a practitioner, you should follow your own safeguarding policy.

If you're a parent or carer, you can report your concern to your local council:

If a young person is in immediate danger, you should call 999 and talk to the police. If you think that a young person is at risk, follow your safeguarding procedure.
